Before joining Horizons Sustainable Financial Services as an Investment Advisor Representative, Jake was a nonprofit director and small business owner focused on food justice and gardening access in the Washington, DC area. Jake has always enjoyed challenging himself intellectually and engaging with the ideas that shape our world. These qualities led him to attend the Great Books program at St. John’s College in Santa Fe NM, where he earned a BA in Liberal Arts and an MA in Eastern Classics. A confident speaker and conversationalist, he began hosting a podcast in 2021 exploring the art of investing in oneself to grow a balanced, meaningful life. It now has over 50 episodes on a broad range of topics.
